How to install Wordpress from control panel

If DNS is not enabled yet or your domain is not active for any reason you can use an instant alias to create your site until such time as you are ready to enable DNS.  You can enable the instant alias through the control panel under Domains.

1. Sign In to your account at www.cera.net

2. Click on Cloud at the top of the screen and the account you want to access

3. Click on Web App Gallery, scroll down to Wordpress and click Install

4. Choose your website from the dropdown box

5. Under Application Name,use mysql-local.yourdomain.com (replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name).  If you are using the instant alias, it will be mysql-local.yourdomain.ceranethost.com

6. Choose MySQL 5 for the Database type

7. Create a unique Database Name that is different than the default name provided

8. Create a unique Database User Name that is different than the default name provided

9. Create a password for your database

10. Click Install

11. For security reasons, please go to your site immediately to create the sign in credentials for your site 

12. If your domain is not active yet you can use the instant alias to access your site.
