White Pages on Your Wordpress Website

If white pages suddenly appear on your Wordpress site, it might be caused by an issue with one of the plugins.  These steps will show you how to disable the plugins to see if that is the issue:

***Before you begin, please make a backup of your database for security****

To Make Backup:

1. Log in at www.cera.net

2. Click on the "Cloud" dropdown and choose the appropriate site

3.  Click on the MySQL Database icon and then click the name of the database

4. Expand the "Maintenance Tools" section and click "Backup"

5. This is also where you will restore the database if data gets lost or corupted during your edit

To Remove Wordpress Plugins:

1.  Log in at www.cera.net

2.  Click on the "Cloud" dropdown and choose the appropriate site

3.  Click on the MySQL Database icon and the click on "Browse Database" for the site in question

4.  Click on the "wp_options" table  and then click the pencil icon to edit the "active_plugins" table

5.  Highlite and delete all data from the "option_value" table and click "Go"

6.  You should now be able to log into the wp-admin page and re-enable the plugins one by one to see which one is causing the issue.

7.  Once you have isolated the problem plugin, you might want to try the following troubleshooting steps:

8.  Try deleting and re-installing the plugin

9.  Try Updating the plugin (you may need to properly configure security for updates. Click here for how to do that)

10.  Check the plugin developers website for additional information or contact the developer
