Introduction to Cloud Services by CeraNet

1) Servers

  • CeraNet supports instant deployment of Windows and Ubuntu servers natively
  • Other Operating Systems may be supported upon request
  • CeraNet supports large configurations that may include servers with more than 40 CPU, 10 TB of storage and 1 TB of RAM
  • Physical to Virtual (P2V) and Virtual to Virtual (V2V) conversions are available through CeraNet managed services
  • Hybrid Services that include Physical to Virtual network connectivity is available for CeraNet colocation clients
  • Cloud Servers include DNS services.  Supports a full suite of record types, advanced Round Robin and easy to use management.
  • CeraNet backs up and retains 7 days of server images.  However, you should develop methods to retain your own copies of important data such as proprietary source code.

 

 

2) Security

  • CeraNet uses Cisco Technology for its Network Security services
  • Multi-factor authentication is available utilizing Cisco DUO
  • Colocation clients may use their own network security solutions to protect CeraNet Cloud servers
  • VPN Tunneling to Azure, AWS and Google Cloud is available with CeraNet Network Security

 

 

3) Monitoring

  • Comprehensive monitoring is included with all CeraNet Cloud Services
  • CeraNet uses PRTG by Paessler which is a robust and complete monitoring system
  • Fully configurable by the client
  • Full Compliance Reporting capabilities
  • Push, SMS and Email notifications
  • Web interface, Desktop client, iOS and Android Apps included with the service

 

4) Support

  • The included support is ticket-based
  • Clients should sign into portal to submit and manage tickets (unauthenticated tickets receive limited responses)
  • Included support is limited to things like portal features, capabilities, basic security questions, etc
  • Activities that occur in the OS such as application installation, configuration and execution are the responsibility of the client
